Greenville County Youth Orchestra Launches New Website - www.GCYO.net

We had the privilege to build a website for the Greenville County Youth Orchestras a few years ago and were thrilled to be asked to do a redesign in late 2008. GCYO is a growing non-profit organization that needed a modern, easy to use interface that would communicate the prestige of their music program and still appeal to the younger viewers who are interested in joining the orchestras. We really enjoyed the challenge of creating a design that would speak to both young professional musicians and the public alike.

One of GCYO’s primary needs was to expand their site at an ongoing rate and edit themselves when needed. We determined to build their site on a Content Management System, Joomla. After a couple training sessions, they received full access to grow and expand their content, therefore eliminating constant maintenance fees.

Greenville County Youth Orchestras is the after-school orchestras program of Greenville County Schools. It consists of five orchestras that meet late afternoons and evenings during the school year. Each provides outstanding educational and performing opportunities for skilled and motivated students. So, attend a concert! They would love that!
